A speaker is known as Robert Van Der Vooren  from VSNU (Association of universities in the Netherlands) has shares about the experiences, challenges and reality in advocating OA in Netherlands.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia host Asia Open Access Summit 2016

On 14 and 15 November 2016, Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR) (Community of Practice), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysian Research and Education Network (MYREN) and SIFULAN have organized Asia Open Access Summit 2016 at INTEKMA Resort & Convention Centre. Many participants were the Open Access practitioners and academicians.

eLife – jurnal Open Access terbaik untuk bidang Biologi / Sains Kajihayat

  1. eLife salah satu jurnal yang sangat muda usianya; baru ditubuhkan pada tahun 2012. Walaubagaimanapun, jurnal ini telah berjaya menduduki ranking Q1 untuk bidang Biologi dalam Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Report.
  2. Jurnal eLife dikatakan sangat efisien memberi maklumbalas permohonan seseorang penulis yang berminat untuk menerbitkan manuskrip penyelidikan. Tempoh maklumbalas yang dimaksudkan hanya memakan masa 3 hari.

EIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries) was adopted 22 Open Access Policies

EIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries) is a not-for-profit organization that works with libraries to enable access to knowledge in developing and transition economy countries in Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America has adopted 22 out of 70 Open Access Policies. HEFCE/REF menyatakan sokongan & mandat terhadap initiatif Open Access

Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) adalah merupakan badan berkanun induk kerajaan England yang memberi dana awam untuk kerja-kerja penyelidikan dan pembangunan (R&D) untuk universiti-universiti tertentu.  Penyelidik yang ingin mendapat tajaan HEFCE telah ditetapkan beberapa syarat dan salah satunya adalah berkaitan dengan syarat penerbitan ilmiah. Dalam syarat penerbitan ilmiah pula ada menyebut tentang sokongan dan mandat terhadap Open Access. HEFCE telah mewujudkan panduan dan penyataan rasmi untuk perkara terbabit.
