the Open Con 2015 is the premier international conference for students and early career researchers on the topics of Open Access to research articles, Open Education, and Open Data. There are convened approximately 175 participants from more than 40 countries, most of whom received full travel scholarships.
The Open Con’s goal is to empower the next generation of scholars and researchers to advance the open sharing of knowledge in research, education and data through awareness raising in local communities and effective national and international collaboration.
There will be host monthly Community Calls, a webcast series, and a discussion forum. These are great ways to connect with others interested in Open Access, Open Education, and Open Data. The OpenCon community is open to anyone—not just those who have attended the main conference or a satellite event.
